Since 2006 New Moon Theater has performed throughout the Mid-Atlantic region in schools, libraries, summer camps, museums and arts centers. To date, nearly 1,000 New Moon Theater performances have been seen and enjoyed by over 85,000 people.
We’ve performed in public and private schools in almost every county in Maryland, both and rural, as well as schools in Delaware and Virginia. New Moon Theater is on the Maryland State Arts Council’s Arts in Education Visiting Performers and Artists in Residence rosters.
New Moon Theater productions are a perfect fit for library summer reading programs, and we’ve performed in branches throughout the Mid Atlantic, including Maryland’s Worchester, Queen Anne’s, Frederick, Garrett, Montgomery, Calvert, St. Mary’s, Caroline, Baltimore Counties (plus Baltimore City), we’ve toured through Virginia’s Northern Neck. and Baltimore City in Maryland, libraries in the Virginia’s Northern Neck, and throughout Delaware.
New Moon Theater was the 2018 Delaware Department of Libraries featured artist for their statewide summer reading program, performing in all 33 Delaware public libraries.
